Obituary for "Ron" Ronald Marvin McKelvey

“Ron” Ronald Marvin McKelvey of Green Forest, Arkansas was born May 14, 1947 in Sioux City, Iowa to Robert and Gwen McKelvey. Ron left this Earth after heart failure on June 24th in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 73.

He is survived by children Shelly Murphy with Matt Weeks, Rhonda Jensen and husband Jeff, Michael McKelvey and wife Janice; brothers Robert McKelvey, Bill McKelvey; sister Gladys Sayler; grandchildren Kyle McKelvey, Matthew Murphy, Joshua Brandt, Justin Avery, Andrew Avery, Elizabeth Plaster, Wendy Ziebell; great grandchildren Kaylee, Danny and Lucy; close friend Frankie Whitener; along with many other family and friends.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, brother Dan McKelvey, sister Madonna Jordan.

Visitation will be 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm, Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville, Arkansas. As mandated by the State only one hundred people will be allowed inside the chapel at once and facial covering is required, but not provided by Nelson Funeral Service.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2020 at Blue Eye Cemetery in Blue Eye Missouri, with Rev John Tomlinson officiating. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com. © Nelson Funeral Service, Inc. 2020.
