Obituary for Jimmie Dee Marshall

Jimmie Dee Marshall, of Shell Knob, Missouri was born January 31, 1930, in High, Arkansas to Frank Green and Myrtle Vinnie (Baker) High. Jimmie passed away in Berryville, Arkansas on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at the age of 90.

Jimmie worked at Tyson Foods in Berryville, retiring after 35 years. She was a cattle farmer who enjoyed gardening, dancing, spending time with family and friends and talking on the phone. Jimmie treasured her best friends Rosilee Collins and Betty Wyatt.

Jimmie is survived by her son Donnie Joe Hill and Vickie of Oak Grove, Arkansas; stepson Larry Marshall of Berryville, Arkansas; daughter Treva Rohrich and husband Herbie of Eagle Rock, Missouri; daughter Anita Lawrence of Virginia; daughter Johnnie Kay Bjorkquist of Harrison, Arkansas; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

She was united in marriage to Willis Ray Marshall who preceded her in death. She is also preceded by her first husband Junior Floyd Hill; daughters Pamela Elaine Hill and Jackie Ray Marshall; son Ronnie Kim Hill; stepsons Vernon Marshall and Johnny Ray Marshall; parents Frank and Myrtle High.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel in Green Forest, Arkansas. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 3, 2020 at High Cemetery with Jack Betts officiating. Memorial donations may be made to High Cemetery, c/o Randy Hooten, 1057 CR 422, Berryville, AR 72616. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
