Obituary for C. Trent Cummings

Our beloved C. Trent Cummings joined his Heavenly Father August 25, 2020 at his home in Berryville, Arkansas. He was born January 19, 1956 at Ft. McClellan, Alabama to William C. and L. Elaine (Butler) Cummings. He was preceded in death by his father.

Trent loved his Lord. He began serving Him at age 18 and never stopped. He has served as a Pastor, Bible Teacher, and Worship Leader. He has also served with a prophetic anointing through the years. Trent would want to be remembered by his love for his Savior, family, friends, and worship.

Trent is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marilyn Miller Cummings. They have five children: J. Matthew Harrington (Maria) of Lowell, MA, Isaac T. Cummings (Amber) of Albuquerque, NM, Simon P. Cummings of Eureka Springs, AR, Hannah R. Andrews (Kenny) of Monticello, WI, and Erika J. Anderson (Jay) of Madison, WI. Four grandchildren: Benjamin M. Harrington (Charlotte) of Dania Beach, FL, Vera E. Kruger, and Anderson J. Kruger of Monticello, WI, and Eden C. Brockman of Madison, WI, mother L. Elaine Cummings and brother Steven P. Cummings. Additional survivors include in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many cousins, and a large church family.

For many years Trent worshiped the Lord with White Horse band. He along with Brent Lugena, Gary Gunn, and Dale Grunwald made outstanding music and song together.

Trent’s spiritual covering, wisdom, integrity, and love will be greatly missed by his family.

Following cremation, graveside services will be held at the Grandview Cemetery in Grandview, Arkansas on day, September 5, 2020 at 10:00 am with Pastor Jeff Tanksley and Pastor David Killingsworth officiating. Interment will be by Isaac Cummings and Simon Cummings. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gideon's International, PO Box 362, Berryville, AR 72616.
