Obituary for Betty Jo Roberts

Betty Jo Roberts of Green Forest, Arkansas was born on March 4, 1923 in Snyder, Oklahoma, the daughter of Silas and Bertha (Summers) Brown, departed this life on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in Berryville, Arkansas at the age of 96.

Betty was a home maker but did work at Glick Manufacturing for a few months. She dearly loved her poodles and taking care of her children.

She is survived by her son Tom Roberts and wife Virginia of Berryville, AR; daughters Diana Mullins of Springfield, MO and Marcia Julian of Nixa, MO; sisters Ranelle Nunn of Springfield, MO and Virginia Broome of Snyder, OK; grand children Mike Mullins, Christie Logan, Ben Julian, Preston Julian and Sara Becker.

She is preceded in death by husband Thomas (Tink) Roberts and her parents.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the Charles M Nelson Memorial Chapel, Pastor Josh Shields officiating. Memorial donations may be made to New Home Cemetery, c/o Lavon Nancy, 1756 Hwy 103 N, Green Forest, AR 72638. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
